I'll defer to for fact checking and additional information. This is where a picture of your current gear is critical, so I can see for myself at a glance if I can indeed craft better than what you have now. So, there are better materials that I can use to craft items with higher Gear scores once I get my two remaining skill levels up to level 150, and keep in mind that the trade skill foods can give a gear score bonus to minimum and maximum, so right now, without infused silk and infused leather (for lack of the thick hides, ran out or misplaced mine) the best range is currently locked at 410 - 420. Now let's look at what this looks like in game. Right know, I am getting good bonuses for Tier three items. I'm new to New World, and don't have the knowledge to know how to play smarter, rather than play harder, but I am motivated to help out in crafting folks better gear, rather than having them waste their hard won gold on items found at the trading post, or even more pathetically, having to rely on found items as their only means to get better gear.
